Palo OLAP – Open Source is an in-memory multidimensional OLAP server designed for analytics, planning, and reporting. It lets you model data as cubes and hierarchies, perform real-time aggregations, and write back budgets, forecasts, and adjustments directly into the model. Teams can work from familiar spreadsheet front ends (such as Excel add-ins) or web clients, while administrators integrate data from relational databases and files through ETL tools. The engine is lightweight, cross‑platform (Windows and Linux), and suitable for both prototypes and production deployments.

Key features:

  • In-memory MOLAP engine with multidimensional cubes and hierarchies
  • Real-time aggregation, consolidation, and slice-and-dice analysis
  • Write-back support for planning and what‑if scenarios
  • Spreadsheet and web front-end integration
  • Connectors and ETL options for databases and flat files
  • Role-based security with granular permissions
  • APIs and libraries for automation and custom integration

Common use cases include financial planning, sales forecasting, cost allocation, and operational reporting.

Palo OLAP - Open Source is developed by Jedox AG. The most popular version of this product among our users is 3.1.
